If this is the Wendy O Williams that was the lead singer of the "Plasmatics" then she is the one who committed suicide (self-inflicted gunshot) April 6, 1988 in Storrs, Connecticut.

I thought she was GREAT! I loved how "in your face" she was! So sad...
