Thanks Taz! I've got my tickets to see them with the Scorps and Dokken on February 1. Can't wait! The Scorpions was the first concert I ever went to--They really put on a great show. Love Dokken, seen them 4 times. Never seen Whitesnake, so I'm really looking forward to this one. Should be a pretty good show.
You never saw Whitesnake?? Ahh... you're in for a treat! I saw them twice! Once with Vivian Campbell and other with Steve Vai. Always a tight performing band and I have no doubt this time around Mr. Coverdale with have the boys playing at the same level compared to the early years. And with Tommy Aldridge on drums... it's gonna rock!!
Thanks for the info Taz. I didn't know too much about Tommy Aldridge, so I looked him up. Seeing who he has played with (with the exception of Whitesnake), now I know why I haven't heard of him. He's played for Black Oak Arkansas, Pat Travers, Gary Moore among a couple of others. Never into these groups, but I'm sure he's a fine drummer.
Tommy Aldridge also played live with Ozzy on the "Blizzard of Oz" and "Diary of a Madman" tours. He is also the drummer on the "Speak of the Devil" live CD and "Bark at the Moon". BTW, at what point are the guys in Whitesnake going to realize it's not 1988.

I wanted to go to that concert!!
I'll be flying back from New Orleans that day! I can't leave New Orleans early, I don't get back to Tampa until 10:30PM!!
Bummer Bambi... :( I'm sure you'll have a great time in New Orleans though. Is it Mardi Gras already?

How was the concert last night???
I didn't get in until 10:00 last night! I had to go escort a group, Mardi Gras starts in a few weeks. Did you go to Gasparilla while you were in Tampa?
Concert was great Bambi! Dokken was a great opening band--They really warmed up the crowd. Whitesnake played really good and the Scorps were awesome as usual!
I actually saw them down here in Estero at Teco Arena. Luckily, we have a new stadium close by now. Not every band makes it down here, but a lot are putting Estero on their tour now.
