Sharon Osbourne in a fight?

Am so happy, uptil this point, that Sharon has been cancer-free. She's back in the news...but this one is not about her health.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Police say they are investigating an alleged fight between reality-TV star Sharon Osbourne and a Hollywood agent.

Osbourne, rocker husband Ozzy and their son, Jack, were dining at Koi Japanese restaurant when the alleged fracas occurred Thursday evening, police Sgt. John Pasquariello said Friday. The other woman allegedly involved was Renee Tab of the talent agency ICM.

Sharon Osbourne "started with spitting on her and calling her names," said Tab's attorney, Nejila K. Brent.

Osbourne spokeswoman Lisa Vega issued a statement saying her client had been "viciously assaulted" and was treated at a hospital for injuries. In an interview, she refused to characterize the injuries.

If any charges are filed, they will be "on the low end of the misdemeanor scale," Pasquariello said.

Tab and Osbourne have been at odds since January over whether the agent belonged at an Osbourne party where she won the door prize, a $15,000 necklace.

MTV's reality sitcom "The Osbournes" made the family worldwide stars, but ratings tumbled in its recent second season.

If you missed it, Sharon Osbourne went on TV's "Celebrity Justice" to show off her battle scars. Sharon displayed her black-and-blue chin, which she supposedly got from agent Renee Tab at an L.A. restaurant recently. Sharon said she thought her jaw was broken and that her chin, ears and neck hurt and claims that her teeth have to be redone. Meanwhile, Tab's lawyer claims Sharon confronted his client about the $15,000 necklace that Osbourne has claimed Tab unrightfully won after crashing her New Year's Eve party. According to the lawyer, Tab asked Sharon if she was here to apologize to her. Osbourne then allegedly started screaming racial slurs such as: 'You Persian carpet cleaner! You Iranian [bleep]!'" The lawyer, who says she will be adding civil-rights charges to the suit Tab plans to file, claims Osbourne kicked Tab and her sister, Candace, and "spat three or four times on Renee." He also claims Sharon told Tab, "I'm going to send someone to slash your face and break your leg." Finally, he says Renee is afraid for her life right now and she's seeking a restraining order against Osbourne.
