I when last night and man am I sore today, but I was proud of myself I managed to keep my balance and I didn't fall down once!! It was so much fun, I miss doing that all the time. Shoot when I was a kid I lived on skates!!!:)

I think the "cool" thing to do is inline skating now. Am I wrong? Used to love to roller skate even though I wound up on my butt a lot of the time. :eek:

Suzanne, when I was sixteen, I worked at Comet Skating Club at 36th and MacArthur Blvd. I practically grew up there (every weekend from age 9 to age 18). Which Rink did you go to last night?

Oh, and last time I skated was at Steff's birthday party about 4 years ago. LOL

Oh Man, You worked at the Comet!! I use to love skaking there!! I think that Rink is still open!! We when to Southwest Skate Rink on the Southside of Oklahoma city, that rink has been there for years!! Anyway I went there for a birthday party- two of my friends were celebrating their birthdays together and wanted to have a skating party-- It was a blast we skate to all kinds of music from the 70s and 80s!!:)

I went rollerblading about a month ago!
I'd like to get a new pair of roller skates. I had a pair that got ruined because my husband put them in the shed! When he cleaned the shed out, he forgot to put them back in, and with all of the rain we had, they got ruined!!

I used to love rollar skating. Haven't done it in years either. I'm going to have to take my kids as they're getting old enough now. It will be a good excuse.

Everyone at my Church is going to try and go skating like once a month during the summer!! I had so much fun the last time I went, so this is going to be great for me!!! But I think to be on the safe side, I am going to invest in some knee and elbow pads and some wrist guards--- You never know!!:D
