Hey everyone! This is my first post so please be kind! :D

I've been looking for a watch but it's a tricky search since I can't remember the brand!

In around 1987 there was a watch that came in a choice of pastels or brights - mainly aimed at girls I imagine - that comprised of lots of click together links that made the 'strap' adjustable.

The advertising for it was (amongst other ads) a girl wearing a watch made of lots and lots of links so the watch went several times around her arm. Jackie magazine carried these ads.

I'd be so pleased if anyone can remember this watch and could let me know the brand or model name for it! :)

That was too easy... Maybe it's another type of watch he's thinking of. ;)

That's definitely not a Swatch. I don't know what it is, though. Maybe our European members can help you out. :)

BTW, Welcome to i80s.

I should've said I was 99.999% certain it wasn't a Swatch watch! I already researched it as that being possible and got no results, but I didn't want to put anyone off track if I was wrong!! If only I still had my old copies of Jackie magazine I could find out! I even checked some archive issues of it in the London Women's Library! lol. Thanks everyone so far anyway - I feel very welcomed!! :)
