HI!

I just saw a commercial for a new movie.."Corky Romano". It stars Chris Kattan from SNL, and he's a veterinarian who loves a-ha. (He sings it just like all of us do...really high pitched and poorly!! ;) ). It looks hysterical, and I am not sure of the actual plot, but it seems to have a TON of 80's music in it.

Corky Romano (Kattan) is the son of a mafia don. And like any good son, he wants to do his best to keep Pops (Peter Falk) out of trouble. So Corky comes up with a scheme to infiltrate the FBI as an agent, and find out what kind of dirt they have on his dad. Of course, there are problems along the way. Like Corky's two borthers, one an illiterate, jealous moron (Chris Penn) and the other an anger management candidate (Peter Berg). And if they don't blow the lid off his scheme, Corky's new FBI partner (Richard Roundtree) probably will.

I've seen the promos for this one, and it does look funny. Of course, I like the promos because they feature lots of great 80s tunes! There's another movie coming out, a comedy with Janeane Garofolo, and it's supposed to be a spoof of 80s teen comedies. I haven't seen any adverts for this one yet, however. And then there's Mark Wahlberg's new movie, Rock Star, which is about an 80s hair band. If I'm not mistaken, that new movie with Mariah Carey, Glitter, is supposed to be set during the 80s as well! Just goes to show you how popular our little decade has become!

Thanks Molly. I had no idea what that movie was, I saw it listed at one of the big theatres here. Thought it was some stupid soft porn type of film. But if it has Janeane, I think I'll need to see it. I love her.

Call me strange but I find her really attractive. Garofolo that is. But then again I also seem to be the only guy on earth that thinks Sandra Bernhard is hot.

I also think Janeane is beautiful and what a great "I don't give a **** attitude". Hell yeah, she kicks ass alright! BTW Carolyn I like the new smiling face w/whip. It's very you. :)

That movie "Rock Star" is supposed to be based on the lead singer of "Judas Priest".
Ripper Owens was like a sales person and he was in a Judas Preist tribute band, and when Rob Halford left they called him up to audition for the band.
I hope it will be good! I don't know though, Jennifer Aniston in a "rock" movie...
