Ozzy Osbourne's late guitarist Randy Rhoads will be inducted into Hollywood's Rockwalk March 18th. Rhoads died at the age of 25 in a plane crash on March 19th, 1982. Although Rhoads only recorded two studio albums with Osbourne -- 1980's Blizzard of Ozz and 1981's Diary of a Madman -- he has been cited as an influence by many bands over the years.
It's great that he is being recognized in Hollywood's Rockwalk!

Uh, sorry, but I believe it is Randall William Rhoads. Still a personal favorite! Never thought he was under-rated (like Cris Oliva). Who else are you into?

Yes, I blew it. I posted it and was rereading the post one day and realized that I had typed in Micheals instead of William, then was too lazy to go back and change it! I was a George Lynch fan, as well as the absolutely underrated Neal Schon.
