Nikki Sixx stated on the Jim Rome radio show that around the end of summer, the Crue with Tommy Lee will be reforming and recording. Let's hope so. They were one of the top 3 metal acts of the 80's and Nikki Sixx is THE MAN!!

Big Crue fan, when I used to live in Cali my uncle went to school with Neil Wharton aka Vince Neil at West Covina or Covina.
I seen the Crue a few times. Here in Ohio at Legend Valley out doors with Tesla on the Feelgood Tour. Kick ass right up front getting sprayed with a water hose in 100 degree weather with all kinds of hooters in face yum yum.

Love the Crue!
Saw em' open for Ozzy in 83 and also headline 3 days before the US Festival. A band named Saxon opened for them. Great show.
Saw them again like 2 years ago without Tommy. They were great, but they had a different vibe without Tommy. Can't wait to see the movie The Dirt.
It would be a kick ass if the Crue would go on tour again! Sounds like an awesome time at the outdoor venue you went to testament. And to see Crue open up for Ozzy in '83 - WOW! I'm sure it was just great to have the chance to see Ozzy in '83 to begin with let alone having the Crue open up for him. That had to be the best 'eh Roy!?! Rhodes passed away in '82, correct? Who was Ozzy's guitarist in '83?

Ozzy was on tour for Bark at the Moon. Jake E. Lee was his guitar player. I also remember the night Mick was arrested in Colorado Springs and was released from jail like an hour before showtime. That was the show with Saxon.

Before Jake E came aboard full time, Ozzy had a couple of guitarists..among them Brad Gillis.

that would be awesome! Love the Crue, but never got a chance to see them live when it was the original members. Hope it all pans out and that they do tour next year.

I saw them on the Girls..... tour in '87 and they were AWESOME!
I'd love to see the original band in concert again.
God I hope Crue gets back together. I've been screwed 2 times already by missing the 2 most recent shows they had because of my dad. This will not happen again, damnit. I will not miss my favorite band again.
