Nope, they sure don't make them like that anymore (excess baby!). I used to think the punks on the block listening to tunes out of these boom boxes were stupid. Now I wish the punks were still around. Kinda miss those darn punks. lol. :p

LOL and with a build in turntable too....that doesn't make sense at all. I know Sharp made some of these too in the mid 80s. Ohhhh those memories :-)

Does anyone remember "History of the World-Part I" by Mel Brookes when the guys were walking around the temple w/ the boom boxes on their shoulders? I watch that movie now & laugh histerically 'cause kids today just don't get it.

On another note...this is terrible...I was watching the Passion & during the last supper scene I kept thinking about whe scene where Mel Brooks was taking wine orders & Judas wouldn't answer him. Jesus said "one of you will betray me" & Mel screamed "JUDAS!" (I'm laughing now) Judas jumped & Mel said "Red or white?" :p
