mark forums as "read" so that they don't keep flashing at me after I've read them? There used to be a little clicky that did it for me.

I don't think my cookies are turned off because it recognizes me when I come back. Everything just keeps "blinking and flashing and blinking and flashing...."(recognize that quote?)

All this blinking and flashing, blinking and flashing is making me dizzy. :) If you're using Internet 5.xx or higher: In your browser, go to Tools=>Internet Options=>click the Security tab. Click the Custom Level button then scroll down until you see Cookies. Click the Enable option next under Cookies.

If you are using Netscape, let me know and I'll give you instructions to change your cookie setting for that program.

If you enable your cookies, you should stop seeing so much blinking. :) You can also click Today's Active Topics (http://www.i80s.com/ubb_cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_daily) at the top right corner of the main page. This will allow you to see what has been newly posted.

Hope this helps ya! :p

It says that they are enabled (does this make me an enabler???). So, I guess I'm out of luck. I'll just have to log in and log out. And the quote was William Shatner in Airplane 2, in case anyone was wondering.

William Shatner was the embodiment of everything cool. Want a good laugh? I'm going to be entering total geekdom this Sunday. I'm going with my brother to a Star Trek convention! Hysterical! He goes all the time, and he's coming out to one in Connecticut, so I'm going with him. I wish I had a costume. :D

Never been to a Star Trek convention. Not very much into Star Trek, are you witch? It should be a blast to go to one of those though. Checking out all the costumes and stuff.

Hmmm. I don't know how "into" Star Trek I am. I enjoy the old series for the corny value. I liked "Next Generation" and I like the movies. So, I like Star Trek, but I'm not a freak about it. I don't wear Spock ears around my house or anything. Just in bed :D But I'm still looking forward to the convention because I think it'll be hilarious. I'll fill you in on how it goes.
