One of my favourites is the classic 'Splatterhouse'. Does anyone remember this game? It used to scare the crap out of me :scared:

My brother got a TurboGrafx for his birthday in 1990 or '91, and I believe it came with Splatterhouse. We played it non-stop, and we were so bad at it. I don't think we ever got very far. My mom got remarried and we moved and acquired two step-brothers and a step-sister, and one of their friends tripped over the contoller cord and broke the TurboGrafx. Such a sad day.

I never really got into horror games back in the day but in recent years the genre have been among my favorite ones. Usually the titles are extremely time consuming though so 10 mins in front of the console just wont't do the trick. You'll have to devote entire nights in order to really get into the feel & storyline of today's big budget horror games.

my current fav is definetely the latest in the Resident Evil series, released exclusivly on the Gamecube.
Honestly, horror doesn't get better than this. If you're a Gamecube owner this is a must have :thumbsup3

I bought myself a Playstation in 1997 when I was pregnant and bought Resident Evil - it scared the crap out of me! I let my nephew play it back then and now he is collecting the Resident Evil series for Gamecube. He likes to show me the latest scary guys on there... i.e. the 'naked pale dudes'.. LOL This is a fun/scary game though! :thumbsup3
