Reality Shows Update

More from your guy in radio with behind the scenes news. Looks like there will be a Temptation Island II. Fox we pleased with the rating they received on the series they are planninh a new series and are scouting locations and potential couples now.... Anyone up for it?

As for Survivor.... week two for the one who missed it... that was the week Kel got voted out. He was the Army Intellengence Officer that Jeri roused up the troops against, claining they saw him eating beef jerky he supposedly smuggled in. I actually thought he had a chance at the whole thing. He is still one of the most popular of the survivors on CBS's On line poll, behind Ridger, Elisabeth and Colby. :D

Also... Seems Michael, the guy who burned his hands so bad spent two weeks in an Australian hospital. Apparently he recouped well there and regained full use of his hands as he claims he did not even tell his family back home about it till after they saw last week's show.

I just heard Michael on the Howard Stern Show a couple of days ago. Howard was wondering if Mike had burned his penis. :)

I'm happy to say, his penis was not burned for those of you who missed Howard's show.

New night for Survivor beginning next week. Show moves to Wednesday. I guess they decided the ratings are there to be had instead of going against Friends. So one last Thursday show tonight.. then a new day... don't forget!!! :D

Apparently they are scouting locations for a new Temptation Island with new couples... no word on when that will be on the air though... so it's over for now... probably another reason CBS moved Survivor there... Temptation Island was the highest rated show of Wednesday night

I wonder if Survivor will be directly competing with Temptation Island...

Just got more info on that today.... Survivor is only moving to Wednesday for one week, because of the NCAA Basketball tourney on CBS... will stay on Thursday except for the one week

Oh, I see. I thought the show was going to be permenantly moved to Wednesday.

So what do you think about Kucha's Jeff getting voted off? I was kind of hoping Colby would have gotten the axe. It's interesting how this is unfolding... Not many new alliances going on and no one trusting anyone. It's really hard to tell who is going to be next. I'm still thinking Jerri is not too far from getting booted.

Jeff was the first person to get voted off that I was actually sorry to see leave. However I didn't want it to be Colby either. The tribal lines that existed I think will begin to erode soon. Colby was a danger to Kucha cause he's the strongest member of the Okagor. Jeff was just vulnerable cause he's a nice guy and had the tie breaker vote against him. Looks like some pretty heavy stuff is going to go down next week that involves Elisabeth. I still think that Jeri is manipulative to stay around for a while... maybe to the final 4. Possible pickoffs soon though include Rodger, Nick, maybe Keith, Tina. It's gonna be fun to watch though. CBS is bouncing Survivor all over the place. The one week move to Wednesday not withstanding. Sound slike they are delaying the final episode till the first week in May to get into the May Sweeps. But they know that the loyal fans will follow it no matter what.

I did and didn't want Colby to get voted off. It didn't happen anyway. Hehehe... I just wanted to see the Kutcha tribe prevail. That doesn't matter now either since they're all in the Barramundi tribe. Gotta keep up with the names. :) After last week, I'm sure everyone will be watching thier backs. Wonder what Elizabeth finds out about what's left of the ex-Ogakor tribe?

Did anyone liked watching Big Brother last year? That was my favorite reality show. They are going to have another one this summer.

I didn't like Big Brother.
There was nothing of a game or story to it. Just a bunch of people sitting around, shooting the breeze. If I want to see that, I'll invite some people to my house

I DID like The Mole, though.

I agree with you Alex. The Mole was a pretty good show once you get the hang of what's going on. Big brother was like Mtv's Real World. Only on a smaller budget. :)

I'm looking forward to Survivor III in Africa! Kenya I believe...

Anyone see Boot Camp yesterday? Pretty much a rip-off of Survivor, but I just can't stop watching these damn shows. :) Is there a rehab for reality shows? LOL! :D

I didn't like Survivor. Didn't do much for me. I am just waiting for Big Brother 2 to come on this summer.

I'm not a fan of any reality show so far. If The Tender Idols make it on VH1's Bands on the Run I'll watch that. They may be in some footage this season when they cover Flickerstick in Atlanta because Flickerstick opened for them at the Dark Horse Tavern.
